My name is Kathy and this adventure started a long time ago. What I didn’t realize until just recently is I am living out a real life Adventure and I didn’t want it to pass me by. I didn’t want to leave ANYTHING undone.

Case in point- For years I wanted to read The Bible, cover to cover. I tried too many times to count. Starting at Genesis…which I never got beyond.

Then on New Year’s day 2013…something changed. I had a smart phone and installed the YouVersion bible app on it; that was January 1. My New Year’s resolution was set. Start and finish a “read the bible in a year” study. What I found was, once I started reading…

I couldn’t stop.

I didn’t want to stop.

Why does that matter? Why would you care what I’m reading about? Well, when I read (or listen to music) more often than not I get something from it and the message is important. Important enough that I need to write about it. Thus, an old fashioned journal (better known now a-days as a blog).

So, check in every so often. I hope to post once a week. I’d love to do more but hope I don’t do less.

Also, I like writing but I don’t like to write “boring” and that is NEVER my aim! So, I hope you enjoy the ride along with me. I really don’t know what to expect and I hope I don’t become “predictable” in my style or content.

As always, thanks for stopping by. It’s good to have you here. 🙂

Thanks for sharing your blog with me Kathy! I am enjoying and being inspired by your talks with God. I think I need to listen better… and not always do all the talking! 🙂

    • So glad you liked it, Dana! Listening is HARD no matter how you slice it and I think a lot of us are challenged to sit quietly; but doing so provides God with the opportunity to share what we MOST want/need to know from Him 🙂
